In this blog post, we wanted to highlight one of our recent videos with a contractor who is benefitting from the loans provided by Greenlock. Tom Reyes is the Vice President of a general contracting company in Los Angeles. His company is like many who operate in the insurance restoration space. They often struggle with cashflow issues.
Reyes points out, in dealing with insurance companies and mortgage companies on restoration projects, payments can be delayed, and when your company has multiple jobs going, it can be difficult to have the funds to get them done when you haven’t even been paid for the last job you completed. On several occasions, Reyes’s company was given a promise that a large payment was coming, but then it didn’t materialize and his company was forced to scramble to make payroll.
Reyes says that the stress was becoming too much. He no longer enjoyed his job and was even ready to call it quits. Fortunately, he found Greenlock.
Greenlock provided Reyes’s company with the funding they needed to keep their projects moving forward. They were able to pay for materials, and more importantly, pay their employees on time. The company’s owners were even able to pay themselves. Reyes says Greenlock gave him “complete freedom.” Cashflow is no longer an issue, and the stress is gone. He’s even enjoying his job again.

He says now that they have the available funds, it’s much easier to grow his business. He can take on more projects without worrying about cashflow.
